Self-Employed and Being Employed

When one stayed in the same environment, he got so much used to it that he took it granted. It would be okay if one kept staying in the environment. If, for any reason, one needed to get out of his long-stayed environment, he would get lost for various things. It is true in a working environment. If one were working in an office of relatively large organization, he would take it granted for some certain things, which his organization provided. He would lose supporting function. If he was in sales department, he had marketing, accounting, finance, delivery, and, in many cases, technical support from his company.

If he decided to go for his own business and resigned his organization, he is not quitting his company. He is quitting these supports, too. One gone independent sometimes found him to get lost, losing all supports he used to get. In his office, someone else planned, drew, and printed, and brought his own company brochures so that he could give them to his clients. Being independent, he needs to prepare a media, even not a brochure, which explains who he is and what he does. Somebody else used to take copies for him when he needed them. He needs to take his own copies after his independence. Papers! Who prepare papers for his copies? He needs to do it.

Facing a difficult client, he had office fiends, who he could discuss the situation. He now needs to consider and decide his action by himself. One needs to be careful on his mental situation in dealing with this change of environment. There are people who are depressed with these changes. Some may become even sick.

There was a real estate agent who went independent quite recently. He used to work in a good and wide office. He did not have to worry about who run his financial. He had support to do basics for him. His assistant took copies and stapled documents so that documents were ready for submitting to his clients.

He needed to take his own copies and stapled his documents for his clients. He could not invite his clients to her office, because his office was simply his garage room. He did not get depressed. He thought he should play smart. He tried to use resources of others as much as he could. There were several related people with his deals, such as banks, title companies, financial institutions, and agents from his counterpart, sometimes buyers' or sometimes sellers'. Oh, yes, he should not forget about his clients. His clients are prestigious people, since they are the ones who buy and sell properties. They had resources this independent real estate could use. He started to use PC in his client's home. He took his copies, using printers they had. He emailed documents and asked recipients to print. Gradually, this agent started to lose trust from his clients. These seem trivial things. However, human relationship could be harmed from small things. These are the ones, which people gone independent, should pay attention.

It's Christmas Once Again in San Francisco

Everybody would agree that San Francisco is a romantic place. Christmas is a romantic season. It would be why this city is harmonious with Christmas. San Francisco appears in several Christmas songs. Among Christmas songs of the city, the most popular and famous one is "Christmas in San Francisco". Several musicians sang this song. Many Blogs are writing about this song in different languages. They include English, Chinese, and Japanese.

It starts; "Christmas in San Francisco. What a lovely place to be! Seeing the hills being all lit up like a diamond Christmas tree." Looking up the hilltop on California Street from the lower side on Grant, Karney, or Montgomery, lighting illuminations of both sides of California Street are breath-taking.

The song continues; "Hearing children singing carols, people come from everywhere to sing along with the children standing all around Union Square." Though The Bay Area does not have snow in Christmas season around the year, it is common to see this kind of typical Christmas scenes. Friendly San Francisco residents like to join visitors to sing with children.

"Let's take a peek in Chinatown, eating lychee nuts and barbecued boar. What can you say about the Golden Gate that hasn't been said before." It sings San Francisco's favorite places for both visitors and residents. Chinatown is the perfect place to unwind with tea and dumpling. Golden Gate Bridge appears in its lyric as a spectacular marvel.

The song enters into its ending with the lyric; "Christmas in San Francisco. There is no place quite so dear. It's the closest thing to heaven. How I wish that you were here." San Francisco is a romantic place to stay in Christmas. If one were with your spouse, partner, lover, boyfriend, or girlfriend, the city would be cheerful, enjoyable, and colorful place. Even one were alone in the city, like this song, the city would be warm, kind, and sympathetic to your loneliness.

Visitors can enjoy Christmas in San Francisco no matter where they are visiting. There are several places that visitors do not want to miss. The one on the top of the list is "Union Square". In addition to the world-famous Christmas tree in the square, Macy's dresses up with Christmas illumination. Tiffany's, Newman Marcus, Levis, and shops decorate their windows with colorful and glittering lighting. Decorations in hotels are extraordinary. Hotels, such as Westin Saint Francis, Handlery Union Square, Villa Florence, Grand Hyatt, or Hilton, all of them compete each other on their unique decorations. Either visitors or residents enjoy Christmas in this city.

Christmas By the Bay

It is the holiday season again. There are things, which make people feel like the holiday season. Christmas decorations, people's greetings, Christmas cards, phone calls from a family member lives in far away city. The music is the one on the top of the list among others. Especially, the music sings on the local area one lives, it gives him melancholic mood.

It is remarkable that San Francisco has Christmas songs, which refer to the city. Here is one of them. The name of this song is "Christmas By the Bay".

The song begins with the first phrase; "The silver bells are ringing with each passing cable car. An Irish coffee greets us at the Buena Vista Bar." It is remarkable the song goes very local from the opening.

The first phrase continues; "The Golden Gate is glowing on this cool December night. And the cities highest towers shine like presents wrapped in light." The Union Square is famous for the Christmas tree and decoration. Embarcadero shopping center buildings and Hyatt hotel decorate entire buildings. The view over this part of the city is remarkable when one drives over the Bay Bridge.

The song goes on; "The city sparkles now as the carols start to play. It's Christmas by the bay. Candles glow, and our hearts are light in a most familiar way." The city decoration and atmosphere of this season turns up ones' hearts.

"Where the stores are decorated and a chill is in the air. We'll be holding hands together by the tree in Union Square." This is San Franciscan's favorite phrase. San Francisco gives romantic environment for everybody. No matter who one is, a visitor, or a resident. San Francisco is romantic for lovers as this song, visitors with family, children, or lonesome travelers.

"Oh, it's Christmas by the bay. A time to celebrate in the San Francisco way. It's Christmas by the bay. I'm with you in my favorite place on my favorite holiday." All San Francisco people agree that there is "the San Francisco way" to celebrate the holiday season. Union Square, Embarcadero, or Fisherman's Wharf decorations are part of the San Francisco way. This song has a happy ending since the singer is "with you" in celebrating his holiday in his favorite place.

San Francisco in Christmas Songs

Since everyone imagines the snow in Christmas, San Francisco weather in winter is nothing like Christmas. Despite it, San Francisco appears in popular Christmas songs. The most famous is "Christmas in San Francisco". Another one is "Christmas by the bay". The last one is "It's Christmas once again in San Francisco". Since the author does not know any Christmas songs for New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles, for example, the city must have some harmony with Christmas. Such harmony may be the romantic atmosphere this city has.

Among these Christmas songs, "It's Christmas once again in San Francisco" is the one makes people happy and smile.

It starts with rhythmical country and western-style music; "It's Christmas once again in San Francisco. There is not a snowflake to be found. There are no sleigh rides or snowmen like I see on a Christmas card." This phrase is short but concise in describing the Bay Area in Christmas. It is short but enough to get people's attention.

The song continues; "Oh but we got a lot of Christmas in our heart." This short music line makes San Francisco people strongly nod and whisper in their brain; "Yes, we do. Yes, we do."

Next phrase repeats the first phrase. Women chorus joins in the main vocalist and goes; "It's Christmas once again in San Francisco. There is not a snowflake to be found. There are no sleigh rides or snowmen like I see on a Christmas card." This time it sounds more cheerful with women vocals. They make such a difference.

Early part ends with the repeating of the Bay Area people's mind; "Oh but we got a lot of Christmas, we got a lot of Christmas, we got a lot of Christmas in our heart." This part is also mixed vocal chorus and sounds more colorful. It sounds almost like seeing snow glittering.

This is the song singing for the Bay Area people. Many houses in the Bay Area started to dress up for Christmas with colorful lighting illumination. On eucalyptus Avenue in San Calros, Bay Area, there are houses extensively illuminating their homes for Christmas. Some of the houses there bring in snows for children to play. Children in San Francisco Bay Area look forward to Santa Claus coming. Although San Francisco does not have a weather like Christmas in many other areas, they share the spirit of Christmas. They celebrate Christmas like others. All San Francisco is looking forward to it. They feel exactly the song goes, "Oh but we got a lot of Christmas in our heart."

What is the Meaning of "Fill the Missing Link"?

I found the secret of "Fill the Missing Link". After more than 20 years of being employed, I decided to become independent and self-employed. It was so much different being self-employed from being employed. For example, being employed, the company brand is already there and will be given, regardless you like it or not. But, being self-employed, you must get one like getting missing part of puzzle. This article describes my belief and basic concept how to apply the secret of this philosophy and be successful.

No matter what you do, who you are, life is like solving "jigsaw puzzle". You would like to complete the whole puzzle, but there are always missing parts. You do not want to give up your attempt, so you end up continuing to "Fill the Missing Link". By "finding the right piece of puzzle". When you can fill the missing part, being one-step closer to complete. Then, you see better picture, you will be a step ahead for completion. It also becomes easier to find the next missing piece.

This process is very constructive. You can build positive thinking and action by continuing this. It also seems to me that this theory applies not just for business, but also for life. We almost always have something missing for our lives. But, we cannot leave them to be missing. We continue to find someone, something, which can fill your missing part.

Either in life or in business, we all need someone who can help you "Finding a Piece of Puzzle" and "Filling the Missing Link". I would love to help you finding the piece and improve your business. This is my goal of my company business. This is not just concept. You will find this can be effective methodology for improvement of your business and life.
