Chain Reaction - 5

In the Steven Spielberg film and the story of Michael Crichton, "Jurassic Park", the bio-engineering company, "InGen" produced just females of dinosaurs, so that they could not reproduce themselves.  Later they found that they are breeding themselves.  Why was it? How did that happen?
Among amphibian and reptile , there are kinds whose gender could be changed in case there were only one side of gender, not enough the other gender.  Nobody knows dinosaurs were that kind, but in the story, they changed their genders to survive and breed themselves.  InGen tried to limit the number and control their breeding and they believed that they could do that.  But the nature was more powerful than they thought it was.

It seems to me this is more ripple effect than chain reaction.  You throw a stone to a pound and the water develops rings go wider on the surface of the water centered on the spot where the stone landed.  If there were a bug on the direction of the ripple develops, the shape of the ripple would not be the one which we could expect.

Modern science realize this to be "Chaos Theory" to explain why unexpected could happen in the real world.  My friend Mr. Katsuno, Hideki posted good explanation in his comment in my previous post, Chain Reaction - 3.    Please refer to it, as well.

Hi Shaw .. I read your friend's comments and how right he is .. the chaos theory is interesting - we never know where the ripples of our lives will lead us ..
Thanks - Hilary

Hello Dan and Deanna,

You are right that unexpected is in due course expected. Some people take it bad. Some others enjoy. It makes a difference, doesn't it?

Thank you for your comment!

Dear Hilary,

There has been efforts to give reasons why unexpected happen. The Chaos theory is one of them. But we find reasons in so many chaotic happening later on. Have you said to your self "Oh that was why it happened that way."?

Life is interesting that way.

Thank you for your comment.
